- Léa Boichard, Agrégée in English studies, is a doctoral and teaching fellow at the University of Lyon 3 where she is currently preparing a PhD under the supervision of Professor Manuel Jobert. Her research focuses on English stylistics and phonology, and more specifically on the poetics of orality and Irishness in the novels of Roddy Doyle. She is a member of the CEL (Centre d’Etudes Linguistiques) research centre.
- Marion Bourdeau, Agrégée in English studies, teaches at the University of Lyon 3 while preparing a PhD in Irish Studies at the University of Caen Normandy under the supervision of Professor Bertrand Cardin. Her research focuses on the writing of space in Colum McCann’s fiction, as well as on the way an aesthetics of balance is produced stylistically in this corpus. She is a member of the ERIBIA (Equipe de Recherches Interdisciplinaires sur les Îles Britanniques, l’Irlande et l’Amérique du Nord) research centre.
- Jeanne-Marie Carton-Charon is a lecturer at at the University of Lyon 3. Her interests are in Irish literature and culture, and more particularly in the contemporary novel and women writers. She holds a Phd in Irish Studies (Frontiers and Displacements in Jennifer Johnston’s novels), and is a member of the SOFEIR. Her present research focuses on the reception of the works of three Irish women writers (Edna O’Brien, Jennifer Johnston and Nuala O’Faolain), by readers in France, Ireland, the UK and the US. She is a member of the IETT (Institut de Recherche Transtextuelles et Transculturelles) research centre.
- Vanina Jobert-Martini is senior lecturer at the University of Lyon 3 where she teaches translation, stylistics and Irish literature. She wrote her PHD on John McGahern and her research combines her interests in Irish literature and stylistics. She has recently published articles on Edna O’Brien, and Hugo Hamilton. She is a member of the IETT (Institut de Recherche Transtextuelles et Transculturelles) research centre.
- Claire Majola-Leblond is Associate Professor in Stylistics and Literature at the University of Lyon 3 where she teaches Literary Discourse Analysis and Stylistics, Irish literature and translation. She is the author of a Ph.D thesis on the stylistic markers of point of view in Dylan Thomas’s Collected Stories and several articles on the art of the short-story. Her current research explores the possible connections between stylistics, arts and science, the aesthetics of reception and complexity. She is a member of the ERIBIA (Equipe de Recherches Interdisciplinaires sur les Îles Britanniques, l’Irlande et l’Amérique du Nord) research centre.
