  4. Aistriú

In 2020, EFACIS partnered with University of Galway on the Aistriú project – to translate the Aistriú project texts into a variety of languages and make the Aistriú texts available to millions of new readers across Europe. ‘Aistriú’ is an Irish word that means migration, translation and transformation. Each of the texts in the Aistriú project explored the theme of migration from a variety of perspectives, both fictional and non-fictional.
