Every first Friday of the month, the PhD Representatives, Sarah Levy Valensi and Lauren Ottaviani, host an online event combining the PhD lunch breaks and writing sessions. From 10 am to 12.30 pm CET, there is focused writing time (with a coffee break in-between), followed by a casual lunch break from 12.30 to 1.30 pm CET to chat and get to know each other better.

All PhD students in Irish Studies are most welcome to join for just one, or both parts of the event.

You can register for one or all Writing sessions via this zoom link.

The two-year term of our wonderful PhD Representatives is coming to an end quite soon. This means we will be electing (a) new PhD Representative(s). The election will be held on 28 August, during the EFACIS PhD seminar, in a hybrid form. More information on how to vote will follow.

PhD students interested in becoming an EFACIS PhD representative can be nominated and can nominate themselves by registering their names via email with the EFACIS coordinator Sien Deltour. Please send us a short introduction of yourself, along with an explanation of how you would fulfil the role.
