Location: Leuven Centre for Irish Studies, KUL


The Irish writers who take up a residency at the Irish College Leuven in October will read from and discuss their work on Thursday 19 October at 7.30 pm. 

Pat Boran is the author of a dozen volumes of poetry, such as Building the Ark (2022) and The Statues of Emo Court (2021). Apart from being one of the most acclaimed Irish poets, he is also a filmmaker, the editor of Dedalus Press, a former editor of Poetry Ireland Review and he has written books of fiction and non-fiction. 

Sheila Armstrong is a writer and editor from the north-west of Ireland. She is the author of two books: How To Gut A Fish (2022), a collection of short stories, and Falling Animals (2023), her debut novel. 

The event will take place in the Irish College Leuven. Entrance is free!
