Having Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin and Deirdre Sullivan has been a very enriching experience. We were able to listen to them read their works as they brought their words into life: that was a really touching experience on a personal level, but also very enriching on an academic level, as them reading their work offered a new layer to the work we had read beforehand for class. We were able to ask our questions to them, and they were very kind to provide with very thoughtful answers which created a very enriching experience, not only because we got to know the writers better, but also because we got to understand their craft on a deeper level, and how they approach their work. This has been a unique experience that, as a student of a master's degree on literature, it has been very gratifying.
