We are delighted to announce that our current EFACIS Graduate Student Representative Michael Lydon has also taken on the role of EFACIS Communications Officer. Please find below a short intro note to get to know Michael:

Michael Lydon is a PhD Candidate at the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG), working under the supervision of Dr Méabh Ní Fhuartháin. At NUIG he teaches an undergratuate and Masters level module on 'Popular Music and Ireland' as well as work as the Course Coordinator for an Irish Studies Course for visiting students entitled 'Irish Life and Culture'. He is the current and inaugural Studenet Representative for the European Federation of Associations and Centres of Irish Studies (EFACIS), and is also their current Communications Officer. He is a former graduate of Cardiff School of Music, NUIG and Högskolan Dalarna Biblioteket i Borlänge (Darlana University).
