'The Irish Border Narratives Symposium in Wuppertal was extremely interesting. The delegates were experts on the border from various disciplines and could speak to the jural, sociological, literary and filmic iterations of the border. I spoke about my plays, which have dealt with the history and changing perceptions of the border in recent years. It was a positive experience, with knowledge-sharing, lively discussions, and the making of friends. A fantastic time.'
