1. Award Value
Full tuition fees paid for all years of programme, up to a maximum of three years.

2. How to apply?

In addition to this application we are asking students to submit a short 2 minute video on why they want to come and study at Queen’s University Belfast.

3. Eligibility requirements
To qualify for an international scholarship, students must first apply for, and receive an admission for 2018 entry to a degree programme at Queen’s University Belfast within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and meet the eligibility criteria below:
a) Students must be self-funded.
b) Students must be classified as international fee paying students paying the international tuition fee rate in order to be considered for this scheme. Students paying NI/GB/EU fees are not eligible for international scholarships.

c) Students must hold an offer of a place on a full-time programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus, starting in the academic year 2018-19 and meet any academic and language conditions attached to their offer as stated in their offer letter.

d) Students studying on a part-time basis, or on foundation degrees or distance learning programmes, or any other programme with non-standard fee rates are not eligible for these scholarships.

4. Terms and Conditions
a) Scholarships will be deducted from the tuition fee payable to Queen’s upon enrolment in 2018-2019.
b) Students must register on their degree programme by the start date outlined in their offer.
c) Scholarships may not be deferred to the following academic year.
d) The University reserves the right to vary all or any scholarship awards and regulations at its sole discretion.
e) In the event that a student has received scholarship offers for a number of different programmes at Queen’s University, they will only be able to redeem one scholarship award. This will be the scholarship award for the course onto which they enrol in the 2018-19 academic year.

4. The selection process
Your application will be reviewed and ranked by your School. Once this process has taken place your application will be the passed to the Senior Management Team within the Faculty of AHSS for consideration. You will be notified if you are successful on 5 November 2018.
